MatchMe Money Limited

Who We Are

MatchMe Money Limited is a licensed Financial Advice Provider (FAP). We hold a Financial Advice Provider licence issued by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA).

 

Current Status: We  are not currently providing regulated financial advice. We hold our FAP  licence in preparation for offering financial advice services in the future.  This page will be updated when we commence providing regulated financial  advice.

 

Nature and Scope of Our Services

When we commence providing regulated financial advice, we intend to provide advice on:

•       Consumer credit contracts (personal loans, car loans, debt consolidation)

•       Business lending

•      Mortgage and home loan products

We work with a panel of finance partners (lenders) and our advice may be limited to products offered by those partners. We do not provide advice on all products available in the market.

Fees and Expenses

We do not charge fees directly to clients for our services.

How We Are Paid

When we commence providing financial advice services, we may receive commissions from our finance partners(lenders) when a loan is settled. The amount of commission varies depending on the lender and the type of product.

We will disclose specific commission amounts or how they are calculated before you act on any advice we provide.

Conflicts of Interest

Because we receive commissions from lenders, we have a financial interest in recommending products that result in a loan being settled. This creates a potential conflict of interest.

How we manage this conflict:

•       We are required by law to give priority to your interests when providing advice

•       We will only recommend products that are suitable for your circumstances and needs

•       We will disclose any commissions or incentives that apply before you act on our advice

•      Our team are trained to identify and manage conflicts of interest

Our Duties to You

When we provide regulated financial advice, we have legal duties to:

•       Meet the standards of competence, knowledge and skill set out in the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services

•       Give priority to your interests

•       Exercise care, diligence and skill

•      Meet the standards of ethical behaviour, conduct and client care set out in the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services

Our complaints process:

1.    Contact us with your complaint

2.    We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days

3.    We will investigate and aim to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible

4.    We will keep you informed of progress

5.   If we cannot resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you can refer it to our external dispute resolution scheme

 

External Dispute Resolution

We are a member of the  Insurance & Financial Services Ombudsman Scheme (IFSO), an independent  external dispute resolution scheme. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you  can refer it to IFSO free of charge.
